Environmental Exhibition is the largest annual event in the field of production and presentation of national environmental products and services in which broad number of the stakeholders of the field and interested audience in Tehran International Exhibition Center. The Environment Exhibition 2016 was held under the slogan of ‘Green Economy in the Post-Sanctions Era’ during 29 February - 3 March. 
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Vice President and Director of Environmental Protection Organization, Dr. Masoumeh Ebtekar, thanked the organizers of the exhibition, both in public and private sections, as well as environmental activists. She mentioned that ‘Green Economy’ is the main discourse in the exhibition.
The Vice President said: “Iran is considering international cooperation in terms of creating green technologies, attracting new investments, and resource conservation. These cooperative activities may influence the reduction of unsustainability. These practices could be significant and determinative in Iran’s current serious condition.”
Forests, Range and Watershed Management Organization participated in the exhibition by allocating 5 stands for the international projects of carbon sequestration, JICA, Hyrcanian, Zagros, Hablehroud, and MENARID. 
Hablehroud and MENARID projects presented various documents such as newsletters, brochures, books, posters, boards, and stands, in order to enhance public knowledge and share the project’s knowledge with the other experts of environment and natural resource field. The experts and stakeholders of both projects answered the questions of the audience.
Several managers in the field of water, soil and environment as well as experts, university faculties, students and other interested people visited the Hablehroud and MENARID stands in this 4 Days exhibition.
